New Immersive Experiences at Edge NYC

Seven new installations will surround visitors in the magic of the city before taking a single step outside to the Edge outdoor observation deck. These indoor environments include:

  • Prism: Your experience begins here as you walk through the lens of an ever-changing prism, where shifting images of New York City are refracted into changing angles, colors and patterns.
  • Pulse: More than 350 glowing, color-changing globes surround you, acknowledging your movement with pulses of white light that ensure a unique visual experience for every guest.
  • Skyrise: Feel the speed of the city as you enter a cinematic elevator experience with visuals and sound that simulate the speed and energy of rising 100 floors above Manhattan in less than a minute.
  • Reflections: Step into a forest of 200 spinning mirrored surfaces that each turn to look at you as you explore the kinetic sculpture.
  • Kaleidoscope: Journey through a series of giant kaleidoscope rooms — including NYC’s largest kaleidoscope — where light and color shift and reflect all around you, set to original music. Nearby spaces feature changing patterns, photo spots and interactive elements that evolve throughout the day.
  • Crystal Cave: Step beneath a 25-foot canopy of giant crystals that catch the light and cast rainbows on the floor as you move through the installation.
  • Infinite City: Explore 18 large-scale, light-filled columns inspired by New York City skyscrapers, with mirrored and translucent surfaces that reflect the skyline and respond to guest movement through waves of color and sound.
