Is Edge appropriate for all ages?
Yes, Edge NYC is a family-friendly experience that’s suitable for all ages. The experience includes both indoor and outdoor elements at 1,100 feet, making it an exciting visit for children and adults alike. Children aged 5 and under visit free. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder throughout the visit.
Are baby strollers allowed?
Yes, strollers are welcome at Edge NYC. You will be asked to remove your child and fold your stroller for elevator and escalator access during the experience. Edge is fully accessible throughout, with elevators and ramps available for guests who need them.
Can families eat during the visit?
Yes. Skyline Bar & Café by Tao Group Hospitality offers snacks, drinks, and family-friendly break options during your visit.
Can I bring balloons?
No. Balloons are not allowed at Edge.
Can school groups and larger family groups visit?
Yes. Groups of 15 or more can use the Group Bookings & Private Events inquiry path, and student group options are available.
Do children need tickets to visit Edge?
Children under the age of 5 visit Edge for free. All guests above the age of 5 require tickets to visit Edge.
Is Edge NYC suitable for young children, and what should parents know about the indoor installations?
Yes. Edge is built for all ages, and the indoor installations are usually the highlight for our youngest guests. A few things worth knowing before you arrive: the rooms are dimly lit and full of moving color and music, and several use mirrors or enclosed walls. If your child isn’t keen on dark or loud spaces, you can move through at whatever pace suits them. Nothing is timed and there are no rides or drops, so the journey is yours to take slowly or quickly. Toddlers and preschoolers tend to respond to the color and movement, and from around age 6 children really start playing with the interactive rooms. Strollers are welcome, children 5 and under come in free, and anyone under 12 should be with an adult ticket holder.

Most families spend approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours exploring Edge.
