Experience New York Together
Interactive indoor & outdoor family fun in NYC
Looking for family things to do in NYC that everyone can enjoy together?
Edge NYC combines immersive, interactive indoor experiences, skyline views, and New York’s highest outdoor sky deck in one unforgettable family outing at Hudson Yards.
Start indoors with colorful installations inspired by the energy of New York City, then step outside for open-air views above Manhattan. Families can explore at their own pace, take photos together, relax indoors or outdoors, and experience the city from a completely different perspective.
Whether you are planning a family vacation, weekend activity, rainy-day backup plan, or a full Hudson Yards day, Edge NYC offers a flexible experience for kids, teens, parents, and multigenerational groups. Kids under 5 enter free.
Why families visit Edge
Edge NYC is more than an observation deck. Families move through a sequence of indoor spaces filled with light, reflections, skyline views, and interactive moments before stepping outside onto the observation deck.
Kids can explore colorful installations and moving light displays. Teens get dramatic skyline photo moments, while parents get a flexible outing that works in all weather conditions, schedules, and different comfort levels.
The journey naturally moves from indoors to outdoors, giving families space to pause, explore, take photos, and enjoy New York together at their own pace.
