Everything You Need to Know About Edge’s Cancellation Policy
Plans don’t always go as expected. Here’s what you need to know before something comes up.
Cancellation Protection: only available at checkout
Cancellation Protection is only available at the time of purchase. Once a booking is confirmed, it can no longer be added to an existing reservation. If it wasn’t selected during checkout, your ticket will follow the standard cancellation and refund terms for your ticket type.
Tip for future visitors: Before completing checkout, consider whether Cancellation Protection is worth the extra cost. If your schedule is unpredictable, it’s worth adding.
Sky Assurance
If bad weather or low visibility affects your visit, the Sky Assurance Weather Guarantee gives you two options. Only one option may be redeemed per ticket.
- Option 1 – Visit Edge Today: Stay for your visit and receive 20% off at the Edge Bar via a voucher from Guest Services, valid that day only.
- Option 2 – Visit Edge Later: Rebook your ticket for a new date in person at Guest Services before your ticket is activated.
Sky Assurance is included for General Admission, Champagne Admission, Flex Admission, and Express Admission tickets.
How to check if your ticket is protected
Not sure if you purchased Cancellation Protection? Here’s how to check:
- Open your order confirmation email.
- Look for “Cancellation Protection” listed as an add-on.
- If it appears on your receipt, you’re covered and can cancel your reservation for a full refund per your ticket terms.
- If it’s not listed, your booking follows the standard terms for your ticket type.
Did you book through a third party?
The self-service cancellation portal is only available to guests who purchased directly through Edge NYC. If you bought your ticket through a reseller, travel aggregator, or third-party platform, contact that vendor directly for help with changes or refunds.
Cancelled but haven’t received a refund?
First, check your confirmation email to confirm that Cancellation Protection was included in your original order. If it was and the refund hasn’t arrived, reach out to the Edge NYC support team through the contact us page.
How to manage or change your booking
Visit the manage my booking page to view, reschedule, or cancel your reservation. A few things to keep in mind:
- Changes and cancellations apply to the entire booking. Individual tickets within an order cannot be modified separately.
- Eligible bookings can be changed or cancelled up to 2 hours before your scheduled visit time. After that window, changes are unavailable.
- Changing your visit time is treated the same as a date change. If your ticket is eligible, you can select a new available slot when rescheduling.
- Some ticket types, including Advance Saver tickets and those with Cancellation Protection, may not be eligible for rescheduling.
What if you reschedule to a cheaper time slot?
If you move your booking to a lower-priced option, the difference won’t be refunded as cash. The remaining value stays on your booking as a credit, which can be applied if you later switch to a higher-priced time or ticket type, subject to availability.
In an emergency: Head straight to the manage my booking page. If your ticket includes Cancellation Protection, you can cancel for a full refund. If it doesn’t, changes must be made at least 2 hours before your visit, so act quickly. For anything else, use the contact us page.
