This summer, Edge transforms into something entirely new. Opening on June 11, seven all-new permanent immersive installations surround guests in the energy of New York City before they ever step outside onto the iconic outdoor sky deck. Designed as a continuous journey into the sky, each space builds anticipation through light, reflections, movement, and sound. From dazzling mirrored installations to glowing interactive worlds, the experience reimagines the skyline in a way only Edge can.
Edge remains open seven days a week ahead of the official debut of these new experiences.
What's Coming
- Your journey begins with PRISM, as shifting reflections of New York City bend, refract, and transform around you.
- Then, capture the perfect photo in PULSE, where more than 350 glowing, color-changing globes surround you, responding to your movement with pulses of light that create a unique visual experience for every guest.
- Next, you feel the speed of the city with SKYRISE, as you rise 100 floors above Manhattan in a cinematic elevator experience filled with sound, motion, and light.
- When you get to the 100th floor, step inside REFLECTIONS, a two-story forest of 200 spinning mirrored surfaces that dazzle with responsive light shows, each turning to look at you as you explore the kinetic sculpture.
- Next, immerse yourself in KALEIDOSCOPE, a series of giant kaleidoscope rooms — including NYC’s largest kaleidoscope — where light and color shift and reflect all around you, set to original music. Spaces feature changing patterns, photo spots, and interactive elements that evolve throughout the day.
- Move on to INFINITE CITY, a series of 18 large-scale, light-filled columns inspired by New York City skyscrapers, with mirrored and translucent surfaces that reflect the skyline.
- Finally, enter CRYSTAL CAVE, a 25-foot canopy of giant crystals that catch the light and cast rainbows on the floor as you move through the installation.
While exciting new experiences are arriving at Edge this summer, the iconic outdoor sky deck views you know and love remain unchanged. Edge continues to welcome guests seven days a week now through June 11, when we officially unveil the all-new experience. Start planning your next visit today!
