How long does a visit to Edge take?
A full visit to Edge NYC typically takes 60–90 minutes. Your journey begins on Level 4 with the indoor immersive experience, which takes around 30–60 minutes depending on how much you explore. A 52-second elevator ride then takes you to Level 100, where you can spend as long as you like exploring the outdoor sky deck, glass floor, Skyline Seats, and Skyline Bar & Cafe by Tao Group Hospitality.
Can I take pictures at Edge NYC?
Yes, photography is encouraged at Edge NYC and we love seeing your shots. Remember to tag #EdgeNYC on social media. Hand-held cameras and smartphones are welcome throughout. Professional photographic equipment, video cameras, recording devices, tripods, and lights are not permitted. Selfie sticks are allowed indoors only. Is Edge NYC indoors or outdoors?
Edge NYC is both indoors and outdoors. The indoor experience includes seven unique and immersive installations in addition to floor-to-ceiling views on Level 100, open in all weather conditions. The outdoor sky deck is the highest in New York City at 1,100 feet above Manhattan, is open air, and subject to weather conditions. Both the indoor and outdoor experiences are included with all admission tickets.
Is Edge NYC worth it in bad weather?
Yes, Edge NYC is an all-weather experience. Even in rain, snow, or low visibility, the full indoor immersive experience, including seven unique indoor installations, remains open and fully enjoyable. The outdoor sky deck may be affected by severe weather conditions, but you will always have access to stunning floor-to-ceiling views from Level 100.
Are all seven immersive installations included with my Edge ticket?
Yes. All seven immersive installations are included with Edge admission, along with access to the indoor viewing areas on Level 100 and the outdoor sky deck.
