Designed for any weather, the experience changes character from day to sunset to after dark, bringing the immersive installations, NYC’s highest outdoor observation deck, dining, cocktails and nightlife together in one destination. The Immersive Installations at Edge NYC
The journey to the sky deck begins with a multi-sensory sequence of seven unique environments. Each installation uses light, color, and scale to heighten anticipation before you step outdoors:
- Prism – step into an entryway where the iconic skyline refracts and bends around you in a series of shifting reflections.
- Pulse – an infinity-inspired room featuring more than 400 glowing orbs that change color in a mesmerizing display.
- Skyrise – ascend 100 stories in a cinematic elevator experience choreographed with immersive sound and light.
- Reflections – interactive light shows react to your movement across two stories of 260+ spinning mirrored surfaces.
- Kaleidoscope – experience New York City’s largest kaleidoscope, a vibrant journey of light and original musical scores.
- Infinite City – eighteen luminous columns, inspired by the architecture of skyscrapers, create a field of translucent and mirrored light.
- Crystal Cave – a canopy of responsive crystals illuminated from within, casting a spectrum of rainbows throughout the space.

How should I choose between Edge NYC and another NYC observation deck?
Choose Edge NYC if you want an experience rather than a viewing platform. A visit is an indoor-to-outdoor journey: seven immersive installations at Level 4, then the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere at 1,100 feet, with a glass floor, outward-angled glass walls, skyline seats and 360-degree views. Because most of the experience is indoors, it holds up in rain, snow or low visibility, when a view-only deck does not. Edge also sits inside Hudson Yards with dining, cocktails and seasonal rooftop nightlife on site, so it works as a two-to-three-hour destination rather than a single stop. Every ticket includes all seven installations and full sky deck access.
