EDGE NYC CELEBRATES THE OPENING OF ITS NEW IMMERSIVE INDOOR EXPERIENCE WITH FOUR DAYS OF PROGRAMMING
Programming Runs June 11–14, With Four Days of Live Music, Wellness Activations, Family Programming, DJ Sets, and Late-Night Marquee Skydeck Shows
NEW YORK CITY (June 10, 2026) – Edge NYC at Hudson Yards, the highest indoor and outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, will mark the debut of its all-new permanent indoor experience and showcase its transformation into a year-round indoor and outdoor destination with four days of special programming June 11–14. The opening weekend lineup spans morning through late night and combines guided meditation, family-friendly activities, live performances, DJ sets, samba dancing, Sky Drop giveaways (Terms & Conditions will apply), and exclusive Marquee Skydeck shows 1,100 feet above Manhattan.
The new indoor experience features seven immersive environments inspired by New York City’s light, color, and energy, creating a multi-sensory journey from arrival to the outdoor sky deck. Together with Edge’s hospitality offerings, the experience transforms Edge NYC into a year-round destination for visitors in any weather. The outdoor viewing areas offer sweeping 360-degree skyline views, a thrilling glass floor, angled glass walls, and outdoor skyline steps. Opening weekend guests will also be among the first to explore the Edge Explorer Guide, an interactive self-guided scavenger hunt for kids and adults alike, through the new installations, and can shop exclusive Edge and FIFA World Cup merchandise at the Edge Store.
Daily programming follows a consistent arc: meditation sessions and face painting inside the Crystal Cave from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by Vinyl & Views DJ sets on the outdoor sky deck from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., live sunset performances, and Marquee Skydeck late-night shows.
Highlights by day include:
- Thursday, June 11 – Opening night features a live trumpet performance by Eganam “ÉGO” Segbefia on the outdoor deck, followed by BABËL at Marquee Skydeck.
- Friday, June 12 – Mastercard cardholders receive priority access and complimentary champagne all day. The evening closes with Sofi Tukker performing at Marquee Skydeck.
- Saturday, June 13 – Brazilian samba dancers Pure Samba take the outdoor deck at sunset, followed by Tripolism at Marquee Skydeck.
- Sunday, June 14 – Eganam “ÉGO” Segbefia returns for a closing night trumpet performance ahead of the final Marquee Skydeck show of the weekend.
Tao Group Hospitality will debut all-new day-to-night food and beverage menus across Edge’s hospitality venues throughout the weekend.
